"I keep it to Myself" was no doubt one of the best songs on "The Boy Is Mine". This track is about her falling in love with her best friend and having to keep it to herself because he goes out with many girls. This woulda been like a "Before You Walk Out My Life" rehash for the fans and bystanders. It was penned by the talented Diane Warren (For You I will, Angel of mine, etc.). I think this should be the prime example of the "Miss Thang" I'm expecting to come back and bring 'it'. The prime part of the song that hits the heart of the people that have been in the situation is when she sings:"I wonder if you feel the same way I do ,
then we both could be together forever
So why do I hide all my feelings inside
if I know you're the only one for me
The deeper that it gets the harder that I fall"
